Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Schedule varies (Per diem) — Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled rehab and nursing setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document changes in patient condition
Perform thorough assessments and communicate care plans with the interdisciplinary team
Support patient mobility, safety and restorative nursing goals
Educate residents and families with clear, respectful communication
Maintain accurate charting and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (must be current and in good standing)
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Stable clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude

Education

LPN: Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and infection control practices
Familiarity with resident-centered care and rehab nursing principles
Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Good assessment skills, vital signs monitoring, and wound care basics
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a busy nursing environment
