Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the radiology program and supervise daily activities of radiology staff
• Track and ensure radiology studies are properly submitted, reported, and followed up
• Provide PACS training and act as a resource for radiology transcription issues
• Ensure radiology equipment is maintained, inspected, and compliant with regulations
• Create, update, and manage radiology policies and procedures
• Manage the radiation protection monitoring program for staff exposed to radiation
• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain high standards
• Coordinate with clinic administrators, medical directors, and Finance to support operations and revenue capture
• Perform radiologic exams as qualified and ensure staff competency through training and evaluations
• Prepare required reports and ensure lead apron testing and MQSA requirements are completed

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
• Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Registered Mammographer preferred
• Registered Ultrasound Technologist preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Radiology Management and supervision
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• PACS training required; CT and MRI technologist experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations and MQSA requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to supervise teams

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
