Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE MRI systems to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform contrast and non-contrast MRI studies while ensuring patient safety
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging steps and address concerns
• Follow Cerner EMR workflows to accurately document studies and results
• Collaborate with radiology team members and technologists to optimize throughput
• Adhere to department protocols and infection control standards at all times
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate care

Qualifications

• MRI registration required (ARRT or state MRI credential)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Experience with GE MRI systems preferred
• Breast MRI experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR workflows preferred
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain

Education

• Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program recommended

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven proficiency in MRI imaging techniques, including contrast and non-contrast protocols
• Strong patient positioning and safety skills
• Comfortable using GE MRI hardware and software
• Experience documenting in Cerner or similar electronic medical records
• Ability to manage workflow in a busy radiology environment
• Good communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
