Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT exams for ED and inpatient populations, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremities
• Operate GE CT systems independently and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Collaborate with ED and inpatient teams to prioritize and expedite trauma and urgent studies
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication for ED and IP patients
• Accurately document procedures in Meditech and maintain imaging records
• Support unit workflow and contribute to a safe, efficient CT service

Qualifications

• ARRT (Radiography) required
• CT certification preferred
• At least 1 year experience in a Level I trauma setting (experience caring for ED patients preferred)
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) independently
• Comfortable performing CTA and trauma pan scans
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar documentation systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven CT imaging skills and trauma imaging experience
• Competence with GE CT platforms and multi-slice protocols
• Ability to perform CTA studies and trauma pan protocols
• Strong patient care skills for ED and inpatient populations
• Proficient documentation and workflow management in Meditech
• Sound understanding of radiation safety and CT best practices
