Shift Type: Primary: 4 days/week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day). Includes on-call coverage: Weekday on-call 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM and Weekend on-call 7:30 AM - 7:30 AM; shift type: day_night. Schedule is supervisor-approved and includes required weeknight and weekend call shifts.

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide intra-procedural circulating care including managing supplies and assisting with procedures
- Administer medications and support procedural sedation safely and according to protocol
- Operate and chart cases using EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting systems
- Support Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath procedures across multiple suites
- Respond to STEMI activations and assist with stabilization measures including IABP when needed
- Float between campuses as required and meet on-call response expectations (30-minute response to home campus)
- Maintain radiation safety practices and comply with fingernail and sterile technique policies
Qualifications
- RCIS certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) via CCI required
- BLS and ACLS required; ARRT is listed among primary credentials
- Hospital-setting Cardiac Cath/IR experience — position notes indicate more than 3 years preferred/required
- Driver's license required at submittal (used to verify radius rule)
- Comfortable floating across multiple campuses and working on-call evenings and weekends
- Willingness to follow client policies (radiation badge provided; artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas)
Education
- RCIS certification via CCI required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- No BSN required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong familiarity with Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology procedures
- Experience with EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting systems
- Experience with Siemens equipment and suite workflow
- Proficient in intra-procedural circulating, venous access, medication administration and sedation
- STEMI management and ability to assist up to IABP stabilization
- Radiation safety practices and use of a radiation badge
- Ability to work in an acute care/trauma level 2 environment and handle 4-5 cases/day on average
