Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shifts, typically a 4x10 schedule across weekdays (four 10-hour days per week) with staggered start times: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day). Minimal call; 1 weeknight on call and 1 weekend per month.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Admit patients for GI procedures and ensure timely, compassionate intake
- Provide Phase II recovery care for patients after propofol sedation with vigilant monitoring
- Document clinical care accurately in EPIC so the whole team stays informed
- Assist and circulate during endoscopy procedures including EGD, colonoscopy and ERCP
- Perform IV therapy and support procedural needs with expert vascular access
- Collaborate with Admit RN, Recovery RN and Procedure RN to maintain smooth patient flow
- Support quality and safety initiatives in the GI/Endoscopy unit to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Washington state Registered Nurse license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI lab experience (explicit requirement)
- Must have ERCP experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Prior EPIC charting experience (required)
- Strong IV skills and experience with admit/discharge workflows
- Experience with Phase II recovery from propofol sedation and procedural assist duties
Education
- Active RN license in Washington state
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in endoscopy procedures: ERCP, EGD and colonoscopy
- Skilled in banding and dilations and other general endo techniques
- Comfortable with Phase II recovery and post-procedure monitoring
- Familiar with EPIC charting and electronic documentation best practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Ability to manage multiple patients per day while maintaining quality care
