Shift Type: Days, 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM, 4x10 schedule (40 hours/week); on-call rotation with an average 1-2 call days per week and ~1 weekend per month (30-minute response time)

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with left and right heart catheterizations and complex PCI procedures with precision and calm
- Support electrophysiology, structural heart (TAVR, Watchman), Impella and IABP cases, and interventional radiology procedures
- Operate and document in EPIC, MACLAB, PYXIS, GE Imaging, CARTO and Abbott EP systems reliably
- Maintain radiation safety practices and ensure you have and use a valid Radiation Badge before the assignment
- Respond to on-call activations within required response times and provide strong procedural support
- Provide pre-op and post-op monitoring and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RT and pharmacy for code support
- Assist with vascular access and ultrasound-guided IV starts when needed
- Contribute to a busy multimodality lab workflow while prioritizing patient safety and quality care
Qualifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification required for Cath Lab Techs
- WA DOH CVIS or RT credential required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Radiation Badge required prior to start (facility does not supply or track)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant cath lab or interventional experience
- Comfortable with scrub responsibilities and working in hybrid cath/IR environments
- Manager receptive to reviewing well-qualified clinicians with compact licenses or dual-role RN experience
Education
- No BSN required
- Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with EPIC charting and MACLAB documentation
- Experience with PYXIS medication systems and GE Imaging equipment
- Familiarity with CARTO and Abbott EP mapping systems
- Strong understanding of cath lab procedures: heart caths, PCI, EP studies, structural heart interventions, peripheral vascular procedures
- Competence in Impella and IABP management and hybrid case workflows
- Ultrasound-guided IV start skills and scrub experience
- Ability to respond quickly to emergent situations and support critical care ventilation during procedures
