Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Diagnostic Radiology and Special Procedures
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after radiological procedures to ensure safety
• Administer medications and manage patient responses according to protocols
• Respond quickly and effectively to unexpected emergencies during radiological procedures
• Develop, review, and help maintain clinical protocols, policies, and procedures for interventional radiology
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate total nursing care and provide patient/family education
• Lead by example in maintaining professional nursing standards and mentoring ancillary staff

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact (must be uploaded with profile)
• Note for agencies/submissions: New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be included up front per NH requirements
• Minimum 2+ years current experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER, or PACU
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (must be uploaded)
• Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred; experience in Conscious/Moderate Sedation considered
• Traveler must have own vehicle and include permanent address in profile
• Previous travel experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring during imaging and interventional procedures
• Proficiency with Epic and documentation best practices
• Emergency response and critical thinking in high-stakes situations
• Radiology nursing across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography
• Interventional Radiology procedures and conscious/moderate sedation practices
• Medication administration and protocol-driven care
• Clear communication, patient teaching, and leadership skills
