Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight). Specific days of week vary by assignment; confirm exact weekly schedule with the hiring manager.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment while following safety protocols
- Position and prepare patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout the exam
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to deliver timely diagnostic images
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper image archiving
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control practices
- Participate in equipment quality assurance checks and report any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT or radiology technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification in radiography or CT, or registry-eligible (verify facility requirements)
- State licensure as required for Florida technologists
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently on overnight shifts
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program; AS or certificate preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid working knowledge of CT equipment, protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS and digital imaging workflows
- Understanding of radiation safety principles and dose optimization
- Good troubleshooting skills for common equipment and imaging issues
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills, especially for anxious or acute patients
