Shift Type: Rotating night shifts; 3x12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night). Schedule may include weekends and is based on a 3 12s model

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry tracings and act quickly to ensure patient safety
- Provide expert wound care, including advanced assessment and dressing changes
- Deliver high-quality med/surg nursing for geriatric and swing-bed patients
- Perform minor procedures on unit according to protocol and training
- Document thoroughly and accurately in Cerner to support continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create patient-centered plans
- Provide exceptional, concierge-level patient experience that meets community expectations
Qualifications
- Active RN license (eligible to work in North Carolina required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with geriatric or inpatient rehab (swing bed) experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred
- Proven wound care skills and comfort performing minor procedures
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic documentation systems
- Ability to work overnight/night shifts and maintain excellent clinical judgment under variable staffing
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Advanced wound assessment and dressing selection
- Strong med/surg assessment and clinical decision-making
- Proficient documentation practices in Cerner
- Effective patient and family communication, especially in an affluent/concierge setting
- Time management and ability to work with minimal unit support when techs are unavailable
