Shift Type: Rotating schedule including weekends, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (12-hour day shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams with and without contrast, ensuring clear diagnostic images
- Operate and optimize GE MRI systems to follow prescribed protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care and education before, during, and after procedures
- Document exams and patient information accurately in Cerner EMR
- Assist with breast MRI procedures when needed, applying attention to detail and comfort
- Follow unit policies, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and the broader care team to support timely diagnosis
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by being punctual, professional, and ready to help
Qualifications
- MRI registration/certification required (MRI registered)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (as listed in the job data)
- Experience with MRI contrast and non-contrast studies
- Familiarity with GE MRI systems is required
- Experience documenting in Cerner EMR preferred
- Breast MRI experience is a plus
- Willingness to work rotating weekends as part of the schedule
Education
- Completion of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contrast administration
- Proficiency with GE MRI system operation and troubleshooting
- Comfortable with both contrast and non-contrast MRI protocols
- Ability to accurately document in Cerner EMR
- Excellent patient positioning and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and time management abilities
