Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents in a rehabilitation setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor, assess and document patient conditions and responses
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and care team members to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with admissions, discharges and transitions to keep care seamless
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment
- Educate patients and families on care plans and daily routines with empathy
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico (required)
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Comfortable with夜 shift responsibilities and overnight patient care
- Strong communication skills and dependable documentation practices
- Local candidates only (this opening is local-only)
Education
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
- Patient assessment, vital signs monitoring and charting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or clinical documentation
- Wound care basics and restorative/rehabilitation support
- Infection prevention and safety practices
- Time management, prioritization and teamwork in a clinical setting
