Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day shift). Schedule varies and may include weekends; orientation for allied/therapy travelers starts on Tuesdays.

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care areas
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory support equipment with attention to safety and efficacy
- Assess patients, develop and implement respiratory care plans, and adjust therapy as needed
- Collaborate with the RT Supervisor, Cardiopulmonary Manager, and multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Train, mentor, and support RT personnel in critical care practices and unit protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow compliance requirements, and ensure timely submission of credentials
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma state respiratory care license (required)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- Comfortable and experienced providing patient care in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care settings
- Experience training or mentoring RT staff is a plus
- Willingness to complete all compliance and credentialing materials at least one week prior to start
- NIHSS familiarity or certification is a nice-to-have
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical expertise in respiratory therapy interventions across critical care populations
- Proficiency with ventilator management, airway care, and advanced respiratory modalities
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in high-acuity settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to train and mentor colleagues and contribute to a learning-focused environment
- Comfort with clinical documentation, policy adherence, and compliance workflows
