Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients' functional status and develop individualized OT plans of care
- Implement evidence-based medical-surgical and acute care interventions to restore function
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize discharge planning
- Provide patient and family education to support safe transitions and return-to-home strategies
- Document progress and outcomes accurately and timely in the patient record
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to facility policies (including scrub color and call expectations)
Qualifications
- Current NBCOT certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active Oklahoma state OT license (must be active at time of submission)
- 2 years acute care and medical-surgical occupational therapy experience required (posting notes they will accept new grads, but 2 years acute/MS experience is listed as required)
- Current, relevant work history and skills checklist (current to 1 year) and 2 supervisory reference forms within the last two years
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of acute care and medical-surgical occupational therapy practice
- Skilled in ADL training, functional mobility, and safe discharge planning
- Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is a plus
- Excellent clinical documentation and patient assessment skills
- Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
