Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility policy and care plans
- Perform timely assessments and record vital signs to monitor patient status
- Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and safety
- Float to other areas as needed to support staffing and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN license (required)
- Availability for full-time 12.5-hour day shifts and every other weekend
- Comfortable floating to other units and adapting to different patient populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and bedside care
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Effective communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
