Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid triage, assessment, and stabilization in a fast-paced ER environment
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and intervene when needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe
• Support patient and family education during stressful emergency situations

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start required
• Previous emergency department experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency nursing fundamentals and triage assessment skills
• Comfort with rapid decision-making and critical thinking under pressure
• Proficiency in basic and advanced life support protocols
• Clear communication and teamwork in urgent care situations
• Accurate clinical documentation and time management
