Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and create individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehab patients
• Deliver meaningful, evidence-based OT interventions using typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
• Collaborate closely with PT, ST, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the facility EMR
• Educate patients and families on strategies for safe functional independence and discharge planning
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by being flexible, reliable, and a team player

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Florida (required)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Acute care experience is a plus
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in occupational therapy treatment for rehabilitation patients
• Comfortable using typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
• Experience working in inpatient rehab settings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong patient assessment, documentation, and discharge planning skills
