Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality adult and pediatric echocardiograms (2-D, 3-D, Color Doppler) with accuracy and compassion
• Conduct bubble studies and imaging with contrast agents following safety protocols
• Provide portable studies across units and perform procedures in ICU/ED settings when needed
• Document findings clearly in Epic and archive images in PACS using Philips equipment
• Adhere to isolation precautions/PPE and maintain patient safety at all times
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapy and other teams to optimize patient care
• Participate in the night/weekend on-call rotation and respond professionally when called

Qualifications

• Adult/Pediatric Echo Certification — REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year pediatric echo experience (updated 2/2/26)
• BLS certification required
• Trauma Level II experience — REQUIRED
• Epic charting experience required; PACS and Philips experience strongly preferred
• Vascular certification and ARDMS/RDCS credentials preferred (ARDMS RDCS AE, ARDMS RDCS PE, RDCS - RVT)
• Comfort performing studies in ICU and ED settings and following isolation precautions

Knowledge & Skills

• 2-D Echo and 3-D Echo proficiency
• Color Doppler and Bubble Study techniques
• Experience imaging with contrast agents
• Portable studies across inpatient units
• Strong Epic charting and PACS image management skills
• Familiarity with Philips ultrasound systems
• Ability to work with neonates through geriatrics and recognize pediatric anomalies
• Procedural competency in ICU/ED environments and infection control practices
