Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely supply availability for health system partners
• Support vendor management and contracting efforts with clear communication and documentation
• Analyze spend and purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost avoidance and process improvement
• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to align purchasing strategies with patient care needs
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records to support compliance and decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline purchasing workflows and increase efficiency
• Assist with onboarding and training of stakeholders on purchasing policies and tools

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related non-clinical healthcare function preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage vendors and internal partners effectively
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting
• Comfort working in a contract travel role and adapting to assignment-specific processes and systems

Education

• Not specified in the posting; relevant degree (for example, Business, Supply Chain, or Healthcare Administration) is often preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain fundamentals
• Familiarity with healthcare purchasing practices and compliance considerations
