Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with facility guidelines
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to coordinate excellent patient outcomes
• Document care clearly and promptly, ensuring compliance with license and facility standards
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and skills assessments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for the state of practice
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification or demonstrated NIH Stroke Scale competency
• Successful completion of License/Certificate Verification and Trinity competency checks
• Ability to pass required pre-placement health screenings and drug testing
• Immunizations and health requirements completed: Tdap, COVID-19 vaccination, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with stroke assessment using NIH Stroke Scale
• Proven ability to follow facility protocols and complete required competency testing
• Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork with multi-disciplinary care teams
• Infection control practices including fit testing and occupational health compliance
