Shift Type: Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day shifts; specific days vary)

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform detailed echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment to help diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions
- Analyze and optimize cardiac images, ensuring high-quality diagnostic data for physicians
- Explain procedures and put patients at ease with clear, compassionate communication
- Maintain accurate patient records and document findings in the Cerner EMR
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the care team to support excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure reliable operation
- Participate in ongoing education to stay current with best practices and technology
Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI — required
- Minimum 2 years of echocardiography/echo tech experience — required
- Hands-on experience with Cerner EMR and strong record-keeping skills
- Excellent patient communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to continuing education and maintaining credentialing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques and cardiac anatomy
- Proficiency operating ultrasound equipment and optimizing image quality
- Skilled at patient positioning, safety, and compassionate patient care
- Familiarity with EMR documentation workflows (Cerner)
- Ability to maintain equipment and follow maintenance procedures
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
