Location: Santa Maria, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality PET/CT scans following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and cooperation
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as prescribed
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to any changes in condition
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to review images and adjust protocols
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT (N) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in PET/CT imaging techniques and radiation safety practices
- Excellent patient communication and care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
