Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating shifts, weekends required (6-9 per 6-week schedule), holidays may be included

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric population with conditions ranging from cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, to general medicine
Titrate heparin drips and manage complex MS-Tele patients across multiple units
Float seamlessly within Zone 1 facilities based in Colorado Springs - no home base facility
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to Just-In-Time assignments and varying acuity levels

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone and work flexible schedules
Neuro experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
Proficiency in heparin titration
Ability to care for patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and post-surgical conditions
Excellent adaptability and communication in a float pool environment
Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
