Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend, holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently perform all respiratory therapy duties including ABG draws, EKGs, and ventilator management
Manage ventilators (PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 bipap) and non-invasive ventilation for patients of all ages from 0 to 100
Provide respiratory care in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7
Participate in unit orientation and ongoing training

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
CRT or RRT (preferred) certification
BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Ability to work independently and be the only RT in-house when necessary

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in drawing ABGs and performing EKGs
Experience with Meditech EMR
Competent in ventilator management (PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 bipap)
Skilled in independent practice across all age ranges
Knowledge of respiratory treatment protocols for acute and chronic conditions
