Location: Pueblo, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility; includes every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for acute inpatient patients
Facilitate early mobilization to improve patient outcomes
Determine patients' mobility status and assess safety for discharge or transfer
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Medical/Surgical, IMC, and ICU units
Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions for diverse diagnoses including CVA, neuropathy, and orthopedics

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy License required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 8-10 patients daily
Experience in acute inpatient settings preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in acute inpatient and ICU care
Skilled in evaluating and treating CVA/strokes, neuropathy, and general weakness
Experienced in orthopedic inpatient rehabilitation
Knowledge of early mobilization techniques and discharge planning
