Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days and nights available, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and manage hemodynamic drips including insulin and cardizem
Administer chemotherapy and manage patient responses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to support team
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU and oncology experience preferred
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Experience with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Ability to titrate drips and manage complex patient loads
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Comfortable with diverse patient populations and cultural sensitivity
