Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
- Manage ventilators, monitor cardiac status, and administer medications
- Perform and assist with procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes
- Educate and support families during their NICU journey
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to high standards of infection control
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years Level 4 NICU experience (will consider busy Level 3)
- Previous travel experience preferred
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Cardiac STABLE certification strongly preferred
- Willingness to complete pass/fail SIMs lab for Foley and central line dressing changes
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in NICU nursing, including care of premature and cardiac defect infants
- Proficient in sterile technique, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to float to mother-baby or labor care (babies only)
