Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one week call rotation (Mon-Fri 5:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sat-Sun 6:30 AM - 6:30 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients using Siemens Avanto 1.5 equipment
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed to support staffing
Participate in one-week call rotations providing after-hours coverage with 1-hour response time
Precept new technologists and assist with training as required
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging

Qualifications

Valid Texas MRI technologist license is required
Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5 MRI scanner highly preferred
ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent strongly preferred
At least 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience
Ability to float between two campuses (16 minutes apart) and adapt to varying patient volumes
Strong communication and patient care skills with a team-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

MRI safety protocols and contrast administration
Patient positioning and immobilization techniques
Siemens Avanto 1.5 operation and troubleshooting
Image quality assessment and optimization
Call response and prioritization skills
Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
