Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to adult and neonatal patients
Set up and manage ventilators (PB 980, Philips V60, etc.)
Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Administer nebulizer treatments
Assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion
Assist with intubations
Manage bubble CPAP for neonates (32 weeks and up)
Work collaboratively with lead therapist and nursing staff

Qualifications

Active Washington Respiratory Therapist license required
RRT or CRT certification
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum experience with Level 2 nursery and NICU
Strong ventilator management skills
Experience with neonatal CPAP and high-flow therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ventilator equipment (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Proficiency in ABG draws and interpretation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Competence in conscious sedation procedures
