Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population including CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, and post-operative surgical patients
Monitor telemetry, titrate drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Float as a helping hand to other departments when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Oregon (or eligibility for 90-day emergency license)
Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Experience in general medical-surgical nursing, with possible exposure to pediatric patients

Knowledge & Skills

General medical-surgical nursing skills
Ability to titrate drips (Heparin, Bumex)
Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Wound care and patient education
