Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across all areas of the facility
Manage ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1) and non-invasive ventilation (Airvo, V-60 Respironics)
Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Perform diagnostic tests, assessments, and treatments in ICU, NICU, surgical, medical, and ER settings
Respond to code blue and other emergencies with clinical judgment and independence

Qualifications

Active North Dakota state license as a Respiratory Therapist
RRT or CRT certification required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Minimum 1 year of NICU experience - a must!
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator management (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1)
Experience with high-flow oxygen therapy (Airvo, V-60 Respironics)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
