Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams with a focus on vascular studies, including carotid duplex, venous and arterial Doppler, abdominal, renal, liver, thyroid, AAA, breast, and small parts imaging
• Ensure high-quality image acquisition and patient safety during procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic results
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory; assist in orientation of new staff as needed
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Strong vascular ultrasound experience is a must
• Active ARDMS certification (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) - RVT preferred
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Graduate of an accredited sonography program
• Radiology Badge required (agency must provide)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in vascular ultrasound, including duplex venous, arterial, and carotid studies
• Proficiency in abdominal, small parts, and breast sonography
• Experience with PACS (Synapse) and Epic EMR systems
• Familiarity with GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle on-call duties
