Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as charge nurse, overseeing daily operations of the unit
Administer medications accurately and safely
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Provide compassionate care to residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, including PT and social workers
Document care using Matrix EMR system

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state preferred
Minimum of 1 year LTC experience required
Charge nurse experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and wound care skills
Knowledge of heart disease, diabetes, and dementia care
Proficient in Matrix EMR
Excellent leadership and communication abilities
