Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients in a psychiatric setting
- Coordinate care and discharge planning with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients and families
- Facilitate 5150 evaluations and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Document clinical interventions accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Active LCSW license in California
- Current BLS certification
- 5150 Certification in California
- Prior experience with Dignity Health or CommonSpirit preferred
Education
- Master's degree in Social Work
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of psychiatric evaluations and 5150 holds
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
