Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, every other weekend. Typical shift times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with additional partial shifts.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to oncology and PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor titratable drips such as heparin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to support patient care
Ensure patient safety through hourly rounding and adherence to protocols
Support patients and families from diagnosis through remission or end-of-life care

Qualifications

1 year of nursing experience, with oncology and PCU experience preferred
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
First-time travelers welcome
EPIC experience within 6 months preferred
Charge nurse experience of at least 1 year preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology nursing and chemotherapy administration
PCU and med/surg nursing
Titratable drip management (heparin, cardizem, insulin)
EPIC EMR proficiency
Alaris IV pumps and hemodynamic monitoring
Ventilator care (trainable on unit)
