Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, typically 8-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy to a diverse geriatric population, focusing on ortho, neuro, vestibular, and fall prevention
Evaluate and treat patients with BPPV, balance disorders, and general orthopedic conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life
Collaborate with a supportive team of PTAs and rehab techs
Document patient progress using EMR systems
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in Arizona (or compact eligible)
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
Experience with vestibular therapy and fall risk assessment
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Patient-centered approach with a focus on functional outcomes
Familiarity with geriatric care best practices
