Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
Float to Mercy Medical Center Redding as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as an SLP
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech and language therapy techniques
Proficiency in assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders
Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
