Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for patients with upper extremity orthopedic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans for shoulder repairs, wrist/elbow tendonitis, and fractures
- Collaborate with physicians and rehab team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Document patient progress using ReDoc and Meditech systems
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license
- BLS certification required
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic setting, specifically upper extremity therapy
- Strong skills in treating shoulder repairs, tendonitis, and fractures
Knowledge & Skills
- Orthopedic rehabilitation principles
- Upper extremity anatomy and pathology
- Therapeutic exercise techniques
- Patient education and communication
- Proficiency with ReDoc and Meditech documentation
