Ultrasound Tech - General/OBGYN

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable weekdays, 4x10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Weekend rotation required, call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Assist with procedures including biopsies and drain placements
Utilize EPIC and PACS systems for accurate documentation and image management
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification required (RDMS in General or OBGYN); RVT or RDCS preferred
BLS certification from AHA required
Proven experience with ultrasound procedures (biopsies, drains)
Must live outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
Ability to provide your own Rad Badge (agency will supply traveler badge)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general and OBGYN ultrasound imaging
Working knowledge of EPIC and PACS
Familiarity with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Strong procedural skills (biopsies, drains)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
