Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert, compassionate care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Manage ventilators, monitor vital signs, and administer medications with precision
Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and a multidisciplinary team
Perform and assist with central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions
Educate and support families during their baby's NICU journey
Float to mother-baby and labor care units to care for newborns when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience (busy Level 3 also considered)
BLS, NRP, and Cardiac STABLE certification (STABLE preferred)
Previous travel experience preferred (we love seasoned travelers)
Comfortable with SIMs lab skills: Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Strong understanding of sterile field and infection control

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in NICU care including premature infants, cardiac defects, surgical cases, ECMO, and cooling
Proficient in Cerner EMR
Skilled in telemetry monitoring and ventilator management (RT managed)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
