Location: Tacoma, WA

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; on-call required 2-3 times per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
Scrub and circulate for a wide variety of surgical cases including neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, and plastics
Operate and assist with robotic surgeries using the Da Vinci system
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Manage patient care pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively
Utilize Epic charting system for accurate documentation

Qualifications

Active Washington RN license or compact license (WA accepts NLC)
Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
Experience with trauma cases
Proficiency in robotic surgery (Da Vinci) and scrubbing required
BLS certification from American Heart Association
EPIC experience preferred
Ability to respond to trauma call within 20 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing and circulating for multiple surgical specialties
Proficient in robotic surgical systems
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative standards
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trauma environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and call shifts
