Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry/cardiac unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips (Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, etc.)
Manage PCU-level overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU or medical-surgical units as needed, assisting where help is required
Document patient care using Epic EMR system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PCU/Telemetry experience essential
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and telemetry monitoring skills
Proficient in titrating cardiac drips
Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
Effective communication and teamwork
Flexibility to rotate shifts and float to different units
