Shift Type: Night shifts, 12-hour nights (exact start/end times not specified by facility); 36-hour guarantee. Scheduling is nights-only and exact days/hours are set by unit (requested time off must be submitted with application).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and rapidly assess patients to determine acuity and appropriate care pathways
- Stabilize and manage trauma and emergency patients using evidence-based interventions
- Administer medications and therapies per orders while closely monitoring patient response
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and the ED team to deliver timely care
- Document assessments, treatments and outcomes clearly and professionally
- Provide patient and family education with empathy and clear communication
- Maintain required certifications and participate in unit-based quality improvement efforts
- Follow hospital policies and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Current Vermont RN license or Compact license (must be uploaded with profile)
- Minimum 2+ years of current Emergency Department (ED) experience in a hospital setting (required)
- Active ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) and TNCC certifications (all must be in hand to be considered)
- One supervisory signed reference from within the last two years (required)
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment
- Permanent address must be included in profile and any requested time off (RTO) submitted at time of application
- Minimum 3 months travel experience preferred

- Emergency Department nursing and triage expertise
- Trauma nursing and acute patient stabilization
- Proficiency with ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC protocols
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Clear, calm communication in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dependable documentation and adherence to policies
