Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including 3D and digital exams, with accuracy and compassion
• Execute diagnostic mammograms and positioning to support high-quality imaging and radiologist interpretation
• Document patient encounters and imaging details in EPIC to ensure complete, compliant charting
• Manage an outpatient caseload (approximately 15–18 exams per tech per day) while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate timely patient care and follow-up
• Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to quality assurance procedures for Hologic 3D systems
• Provide excellent patient communication and care for adult and geriatric populations

Qualifications

• Active Washington State (WA) license required (MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE WA LICENSE)
• ARRT and ARRT (M) certifications required; ARRT (R) noted as preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience (posting system indicates 2 years of experience)
• EPIC/charting experience required
• Comfort with outpatient clinic workflows and flexible weekday scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in 3D Mammography, Diagnostic, Digital, and Screening Mammography
• Hands-on experience with Hologic 3D equipment (preferred)
• Strong EPIC/charting skills for accurate documentation
• Outpatient clinic experience and ability to manage a steady exam volume
• Patient-centered communication for adult and geriatric populations
