Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Provide compassionate, person-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and electronic records
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Communicate clearly with nurses, residents and families to ensure coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or eligible to obtain certification in North Carolina
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Demonstrated compassion, reliability and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in basic patient care and ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Basic charting and documentation skills; willingness to learn facility EHR
