Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, documenting each intervention
• Perform timely clinical assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Maintain clear, professional documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support patient and family education with patience and clarity

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or eligible to obtain licensure in New Mexico
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willing to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable working scheduled Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM shifts
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care
• Prior LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and accurate documentation
• Strong clinical assessment and vital-sign monitoring abilities
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
• Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
• Comfortable using electronic health records and charting systems
