Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care nursing to adult ICU patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
• Manage complex patient care including assessments, medication administration, and advanced interventions
• Float to PCU or Med Surg units as census requires to ensure safe staffing and continuity of care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute patient-centered plans
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and plans for recovery
• Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of safety

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start of contract
• Experience in critical care nursing or ICU settings
• Ability to float to PCU and Med Surg when needed
• Willingness to work consecutive weekends if required
• Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts
