Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care and communicate changes clearly to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively while following facility protocols
• Support patients and families with clear information and empathetic communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Pennsylvania license or applicable compact license preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or recommended depending on unit
• Current clinical experience in acute care settings is highly valued
• Ability to pass required background checks, health screening, and facility onboarding
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on night shift teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Telemetry and monitoring (as applicable to unit)
• Wound care and basic procedures common to acute care
• Electronic health record documentation and charting
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Teamwork, time management, and patient advocacy
