Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity and compassion
- Provide safe, consistent bedside care and support under nurse supervision
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely in the facility records
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Willingness to work the 2:45 PM - 10:30 PM shift
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational patient care and assistance with daily living activities
- Basic observation skills to notice and report changes in condition
- Reliable time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
- Understanding of standard infection control and safe patient handling
