Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 6:45 AM, days vary (schedule to be provided)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes to the care team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation to promote independence
- Support bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs with respect and dignity
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with nurses and families
- Help create a comfortable, safe environment while following infection control practices
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a collaborative care culture
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Maine certification preferred or eligible to obtain
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism
- Comfortable working overnight hours and collaborating in a team environment
- Background check and required health screenings per facility policy
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong basics: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe patient handling
- Good observation skills and ability to escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Clear communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with infection prevention and standard safety protocols
- Basic electronic charting or willingness to learn facility documentation systems
